Access Florida has the Food Stamp Program(EBT) that helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Department of Children and Families services.

This group runs the Fort Myers Food Pantry. It offers a wide range of produce, pantry staples, and essential household items for those with food insecurity. The pantry works to empower individuals and families to help them break the cycle of hunger. This will help clients build a stronger, healthier future. This program is called PTO for short. The program is for adults with disabilities. It is a life skills development program. The program focuses on real-world application of the skills learned in the program. There are eligibility requirements to participate in the program. Summer camp for kids ages 10 to 15. At camp, you can try activities like canoeing, archery, and swimming. You'll also learn how to communicate better with others. You’ll even get to meet and interact with police officers and volunteers. For more details, check out our website.

Talking Books are books and magazines recorded for people with a visual disability or a physical disability that prevents holding a book or turning a page. Talking Books patrons are given special players provided free.

The Florida Abuse Hotline accepts reports 24 hours a day. Anyone who suspects that a child or vulnerable adult is abused or neglected needs to make a report. You can report online, by phone or by fax.

Clients who are seeking state assistance help can apply at their office. BSAO either offers access to a computer with Internet connection. A case manager or volunteer can also help you to submit the application to the Florida Department of Children and Families. We also provide a fax to send the required documents.
