Immediate Response Fund for families-Children's Aid Club

Children’s Aid Club offers immediate assistance in short-term crisis situations. They help families get back on track and become self-sufficient. Families are screened to qualify their needs. They must verify their expenses and income. Children’s Aid Club will work with creditors (utility companies, landlords, etc.) to pay them directly. They often give food certificates as well, but do not give cash. Call for more information.

Intellectual and Developmental Disability Programs & Services - Primrose Center

The Primrose Center works to transform the lives of people with developmental disabilities. They use a proven system of techniques. They give training, jobs, and residential programs and services.

Interfaith Emergency Services - Boutique and Shower Ministries

Free Clothing Boutique is open throughout the week for those in need.
Hours: Monday - Friday, from 9:00am – 11:30am and 1:00pm – 3:30pm.

Shower Ministry for those experiencing homelessness, includes a hot shower, towel, and hygiene items as available, as well as clothing from the Boutique.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm

Engagement Center meets the individual needs of those experiencing homelessness through partnerships with other local agencies.

Obtain identification
Employment services
Work boots and uniforms
Transportation such as free bicycles and bus passes
Help finding affordable housing

Referrals for mental health and substance abuse
Soft skills training for job preparedness
Literacy and GED services
Basic life skills
