NewboRN Home Visiting is a free program for women in Alachua County who give birth there. Within a week a registered nurse or midwife will visit. They will check on the health of the baby and mother, as well as help with breastfeeding and nutrition, give tips of how to safely care for the baby, and help connect the family to other local resources.
