Health Center - St. Petersburg Free Clinic

The Health Center functions as an urgent care medical clinic. Volunteer doctors and nurses provide their services to adults ages 18-64. It is for those without insurance, Medicaid or Medicare who do not qualify for county health care. Not every condition is treated. Please check the website for conditions not covered. This ministry has a number of services for those in need. Their soup kitchen is open Monday through Saturday. There is a food pantry and help for utility bills. Men may stay at the emergency shelter for up to 30 days. Church services and Bible studies take place, also. Please see the website for more information.

Pinellas County Urban League

The Urban League is a historic civil rights organization. It is dedicated to raising the standard of living in underserved urban communities. They have programs for youth that help them realize their full potential and stay in school. They offer housing and utility services to homeowners. They have educational services.
