Assurance Wireless offers free lifeline wireless phone services. You may qualify if you receive Medicaid or Food Stamps. You can also qualify based on your household income.

Lifeline is a federal program that offers a monthly benefit. This benefit can be up to $9.25. And goes towards the monthly cost of phone or internet services. Shelter House - Emergency Shelter

Shelter House provides safe and confidential shelter to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. They also provide shelter for their children, as well as pets. The facility is staffed 24 hours, every day of the year. The shelter can accommodate up to 36 residents, with the maximum length of stay being 8 weeks.
