Department of Children and Families provides Adult Protective Services. They help adults who may be at risk of being harmed or neglected. The Senior Resource Alliance is known as SRA for short. SRA is a local resource center. The group works to make sure seniors are able to age with independence and dignity. It helps seniors access services and programs available to them. It also helps their caregivers and family members. The group also provides many direct services for the Department of Elder Affairs. The FDOT has a program called Safe Mobility for Life. One thing they do is called Find a Ride Florida. It helps older adults find rides to medical appointments and other places they need to go. This makes it easier for them to stay independent in their neighborhoods. Find a Ride doesn't give rides itself. Instead, it helps people find local transportation services.
