Lighthouse Ministries provides The Gospel Rescue Mission. They provide shelter to homeless and at-risk men as overnight guests. The shelter opens 3:30 PM daily. It is offered by the Department of Elder Affairs which helps low-income households with at least one person age 60 and older. The help is for emergency energy related costs during the year. This agency runs several youth crisis shelters. They provide residential group care. The help is for youth between the ages of 10 and 17. These youth are runaways, homeless, or have been kicked or locked out by their parents or guardians. They may need short-term respite or crisis placement.
