The goal of this program is to reduce the stress a child has during a hospital stay. Specially trained Child Life Specialists work to help the child learn coping skills. They use play therapy to help the child understand and cope with their upcoming medical procedures. They assist the siblings of a child who has died and help them to understand and say good-bye. The team also works with families and help parents to cope with the challenges of parenting a sick child.

This agency grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. It is for children ages 2 1/2 to 17. After a child is referred, Make-A-Wish will work with the child's doctor to determine eligibility. Their vision is to grant one wish to every eligible child. This program has early intervention services for children from birth to age 3. They are referred by family, doctors or area agencies due to suspected developmental delays. Early Steps services are based on evaluations and the family's concerns, resources and goals. Services are provided where the family and child live, learn and play. Most services will be early intervention home visits.

Offers a summer camp for youth ages 10-15. Kids can take part in many fun activities such as canoeing, archery and swimming. They have the chance to build teamwork and peer communication skills. They can also enjoy the tranquil outdoors. Campers will have the chance to interact with law enforcement personnel and volunteers and learn other social skills.
