The lifeline assistance program provides free cell phone service to low-income customers. Those who qualify also receive a free phone. There is a limit of one account per household. Other terms may apply. Visit the website to learn more.
This is a federal program that lowers the cost of phone and internet service. Low-income households can apply for a monthly discount up to $9.25. Call or visit the website to learn more information.
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps people when they have an unpaid energy bill. The program works to help low-income families. For the first half of the month, LIHEAP gives priority to single mothers, those aged 60 or older, the disabled, and children under five years of age. All other clients are served the second half of the month. They can help every six months, once in the winter and once in the summer.
