Nassau County Summer Camp - Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches

FSYR offers a summer camp for youth ages 10-15. Kids can take part in many fun activities such as canoeing, archery and swimming. They have the chance to build teamwork and peer communication skills. They can also enjoy the tranquil outdoors. Campers will have the chance to interact with law enforcement personnel and volunteers and learn other social skills. Teen Residence - Brookwood

This is a group home for girls ages 13 to 18. They are placed here by DCF because of abuse or neglect at home. Some girls are also placed by their parents due to stressful family situations. The program focuses on helping the girls learn independent living skills, such as education, job skills, money management, and problem solving. They also receive individual therapy and group therapy from licensed therapists.
