The Salvation Army provides social services to those in need. Clients can find food and shelter. Families can stay together at the Red Shield Lodge. The Jacksonville Citadel gym is a designated Cold Night Shelter for homeless men. The soup kitchen serves a daily meal to the homeless and working poor. Please see the website for more information.

The current soup kitchen locations are in Orange Park, Middleburg, and Green Cove Springs. All are housed in Council on Aging Buildings and are held each Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
