This group runs Jessie’s Place, a center that helps children who have been hurt or harmed. Their goal is to support each child in moving from victim to survivor by helping them heal and grow stronger. Kids Central helps children and families in many ways. They find and train foster parents to care for children who have been hurt, left alone, or not cared for. The Kinship Care Program helps relatives who are raising children. They offer support groups, case workers, legal help, and fun family activities. The Family Resource Center gives out things like clothes, food, baby items, and household supplies when asked by a Kids Central worker or partner. Family Support Programs help children, teens, parents, caregivers, and moms-to-be.
FSYR offers a summer camp for youth ages 10-15. Kids can take part in many fun activities such as canoeing, archery and swimming. They have the chance to build teamwork and peer communication skills. They can also enjoy the tranquil outdoors. Campers will have the chance to interact with law enforcement personnel and volunteers and learn other social skills. The Parent Support Network (PSN) helps parents of children with disabilities. They provide the training and info they need for their child. PSN prepares the child for school. They help them lead productive and independent lives. PSN also gives free workshops.
