The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Inc. provides Transitional Living. This programs offers 9 safe and affordable transitional housing cottage. Stay is available for up to 2 years for survivors of domestic violence. Please call or visit website for more information.
This group offers the Transitional Living Program. It is a voluntary, faith-based program that is for men only. To participate in this program, participants must have recently been released from prison, must not have a latest charge of a violent or sexual nature, and must be over 18 years old.

Turning Point is a shelter that helps people with substance abuse problems. It offers detox and support services for homeless individuals. The shelter takes in adults who are drunk and coming straight from the street. It provides a place to stay, including cold night shelter, for those who haven’t started recovery yet. Daystar Life Center offers help with utilities and rent. They will speak on your behalf with the companies, and work to stop disconnection or eviction.
