This group runs the Ocala Ritz Veterans Village for homeless veterans. The Ocala GPD program provides clinical treatment, transitional housing, and case management services to homeless Veterans. Program fees are based on income. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Each day Opening Doors Northwest Florida helps members of the community. They help them overcome a many challenges that can lead to homelessness. The group also offers some financial help. Please call or visit the website for more info.

This group offers the Critical Financial Assistance Program. The program helps military families with grants and not loans. Help is also given in the form of grocery cards. The payments are made directly to service providers. There are eligibility criteria that must be met. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Usual Types of Assistance Are:
Orlando Union Rescue Mission provides Emergency Shelter. Men living on the street in need of safe shelter are welcomed to the Mission’s Emergency program for seven free nights. After this time a $6 dormitory fee is requested. Call for more information.

This group runs an outreach center. It is for survivors of domestic violence and their families who need help but don’t need to use the shelter. It is open weekday during regular business hours. Appointments are available in person or virtually. Please call or visit the website to learn more.

Services Include:
The Overnight Shelter provides up to 30 days of housing, food, clothing and support services. Clients are either linked to area resources or else move through HEP's other housing programs. Park Street Supportive Housing has supportive housing for adults that have severe and persistent mental illness. The subsidized rent here is based on income. There are requirements that must be met to participate. Please call or visit the website to learn more.

Housing Includes:
This program helps people buy their own homes. There are funds available to help you with your down payment. You must make less than 120% of the median income in the Tampa Bay area to qualify.
You do not have to be a first time home buyer. You do not have to be a current Pasco County resident. You must attend a County Homebuyer class.
Any kind of home is eligible, except for mobile or manufactured homes.
You will need to put some of your own money into the purchase of the house. This can be in the form of down payment, closing costs or other pre-paid items.
This is a 0% interest loan.
