Senior Friendship Centers - Resources for Aging

The Centers for Healthy Aging provide quality care for individuals 50+ who are uninsured or in financial need. Most sites accept Medicare. Patient fees are on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. Due to increasing demand, waiting lists may apply. Over the past two years, some patients experienced waits of up to three months or more for an appointment. Smiles On Wheels - Jackson County Health Department

This agency offers the Smiles on Wheels program. It is a school-based dental care program. The services are for children in grades Pre-K through fifth grade. A parent must register the children to participate. The program travels to elementary schools. These schools are in Jackson and Holmes counties. There is no cost to the parents.
