Outpatient services address the needs of most of MBH's clients. The staff treats both children and adults. They treat people for mental illness, addictions, PTSD, and others. Mental Health Association of Okaloosa & Walton Counties offers mental health treatment and education. They offer free clinical screenings. Support groups are also available. This agency provides behavior, mental health care & substance abuse treatment for children and teens. Children do not need a parent to sign for them to get help with substance abuse issues. They do not need a parent to sign for them to be seen for a mental health emergency.
The Recovery Center is for teen boys with substance abuse issues.
The Children's Crisis Stabilization Unit is in Lake City. It is a short term location for the most serious mental health issues. They accept Baker Act patients here.
