Other Family Assistance ServicesHomeless families who come to Family Promise stay at a local congregation for one week. While there, they get three meals a day, case management and other services. They can use laundry facilities, a computer and get phone access at the Family Center. They will also meet with a social worker who will develop a plan of action to get the family on the path to self sufficiency. Please see the website for more information.
Residents and other adults attend the Day Program. They take classes in computer skills, home economics, small animal care and gardening. They learn arts and crafts, physical education, and academics. Also, a woodworking shop has been built and is a source of employment to our students.

The Christian Care Center operates the Benevolence Center. It provides food, clothing, and household items for free. The program is designed to supply families with 5 days of food. It also provides 8 pieces of clothing per family member each month. You can also make an appointment with a counselor once a month. They can help find out your current needs. The Compassion House is a living facility. It is for homeless women and women with children. They provide a total of 8 bedrooms. Washing machines and dryers are available. They accept women or women with children who don’t have a place to live, provided they meet qualifications.

The Men's Residence is faith-based. It is a drug and alcohol rehab facility. The program is designed to help men with substance abuse issues. This is done through teaching, counseling, and mentoring. The Family Care Center supports women and families. They help those dealing with problems related to pregnancy and parenting. The program offers physical, emotional, and spiritual support. They help you learn how to be a successful parent. If you are thinking about having an abortion, you will meet with a pro-life physician. Those who decide to give birth are given education. They can also get help with adoption planning. Those who decide to have an abortion may receive counseling after.
