Boys Town has housing for youth who cannot stay in their own homes anymore. Married couples care for the children in a regular home. Many of these children have suffered abuse and need a place to stay. Please call or visit the website for more information.

Lake Wales Care Center provides Transitional Housing. This program helps people and families in need. They get an apartment that is fully furnished. It has beds and linens, living room furniture, and a TV. All facilities have a playground area for children. There is a free laundry facility on site. They also have free WiFi. Transitional Living is a program run by The Shelter. It offers safe and affordable housing for survivors of domestic violence and their children. They help clients to plan goals for when they are ready to move out. Each home comes with household items and furniture that the family may take with them once they move out.
