There is a waiting list for most programs. Clients are ranked based on level of need. Fees for service are determined at the time of the in-home assessment. It will vary based on the client’s ability to pay. Fees range from no charge for Medicaid clients, to a small monthly co-pay for CCE clients, to full pay for private clients. Most programs are for persons at least 60 years of age. Medicaid also requires meeting income and asset criteria. The Home Care and Alzheimer’s programs require a caregiver in the home. Eligibility may also be based on need. Call for more information.
Marion Senior Services provides Home Delivered Meals and Congregate Meals. They offer a hot, noontime meal, Monday through Friday. Meals are delivered by a volunteer and staff drivers as well as Marion Transit Service drivers. An additional feature of the program is to provide a daily check on the clients’ well being. If you drive, but need meals, there are several locations that serve them. Please call for locations, hours of operation, and other information.

This group offers Maternity and Infant Services to homeless and pregnant women. They provide help with housing, food, and clothing, along with other services. Please call to learn more
The health department offers comprehensive prenatal care. All residents of the county are eligible for services. Medicaid is accepted. If the patient is not eligible for Medicaid, they are charged a fee based on income. Please call or visit the website for more information.
This program helps babies up to one year old. They give families in need items for babies. These items help to keep them clean, comfortable, and safe. This is offered in all four of the Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida's offices. Please call or visit the website for locations and more information.
This group runs a food pantry for locals in need. You may visit once a month. Walk-ins are welcome; please bring a photo ID. The pantry is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm - 3 pm. Please call or visit the website to learn more.
St Peter’s serves 60– 75 people a hot breakfast of meat, eggs, pancakes, grits and cereal Saturday mornings at First Presbyterian at 4th and Park in Sanford. They also provide donated pastries and bread which can be taken home.
