This group provides wellness coaching. The services are for older and disabled adults. The coaching helps improve social, emotional, and physical well being. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Programs Available:
This group offers classes that help people add health and well-being to their lives. Each week, classes focus on one of five topics: fitness, nutrition, meal planning, soul care (mental health), and first air and home hygiene. They present goals to help people apply these lessons to their lives. To join, you must live in Polk County and be below 200% of the poverty line. This group runs the Wiley Reynolds Garden Apartments. It is a 9-unit housing program. The complex provides safe and affordable housing. The housing is for families experiencing homelessness. Please call or visit the website for more information.
Program Offers:
The Women's and Children's Shelter has 62 beds. They have a warm and safe environment. The services are for women and their children that are experiencing homelessness. Check in begins at 4:30 PM daily. This continues until the facility is full.
