The Dr. Frank and Maxine Jacbos Center for Men has a year-long program called the Regeneration Program for men who are dealing with different problems in their lives. They also provide emergency shelter for one night and housing for people who need a place to stay while they get back on their feet. You can get a meal, a shower, and a safe place to sleep. LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) helps low-income households with the costs of heating and cooling their homes. Funds are given once a year. This is based on the clients gross income and household size. Priority is given to those age 60 or over, and/or person has a disability; and/or at least one child under 5 in the home. Roseland United Methodist Church helps the community through their outreach ministries. They feed the hungry through the Roseland Food Pantry. Families who come to the Food Pantry are given a box of food. If a family has small children, diapers and baby food are available. For the homeless, the pantry provides backpacks with food items and other personal hygiene items. They are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 Am to 1 PM.
