New Mothers ServicesA Christian home for teen girls, teen moms, and their babies, 12-17 years of age providing all services and resources they require. Referrals come through CBC, DCF and other agencies. They provide housing for 24 girls total in 3 houses on their property; placement assistance available; age out at 18 years of age.
Hannah’s Maternity Transitional Housing is apartment-based living for homeless teens between 16-22 years old. These teens are pregnant or have given birth to their baby within the last six months. Healthy Families Florida offers services prenatally or at the birth of a baby to families who are voluntarily assessed as needing Healthy Families services using the validated Healthy Families Florida Assessment Tool (HFFAT).
Services can last for up to five years depending on the needs of the family. In addition to being pregnant or having just given birth, the family must reside in the targeted zip code area where services are provided and score 13 or above on the HFFAT. Families who have an open child protection case at the time of assessment are not eligible for Healthy Families Florida.

Healthy Start is a program that screens pregnant women and newborn babies. They identify risk factors for low birth weight and infant mortality. Healthy Start is free for everyone. A team of nurses, social workers, and peer counselors assist families in finding out their needs. Classes are in English and Spanish. No appointment is needed.
