Community of Gratitude

We provide emergency food to our neighbors in Ocklawaha, Weirsdale, Silver Springs, East Lake Weir, and Umatilla in Marion County. With an ID or piece of mail showing an address in one of these regions (serves these zip codes: 32195, 32133, 32183, 32179, 32784, 34488), you qualify to receive food one time each month. If you are a new client, be prepared with a date of birth for each household member. Our volunteers are ready to serve you on the following schedule: Tuesday 10 AM–12 PM, Thursday 1PM-3PM and Saturday 10AM-12PM.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers help to households. These clients may be in danger of becoming homeless. They also might have to choose between food or shelter. The group offers home visits and food pantries.

Council On Aging of Martin County, Inc. - Meals On Wheels

The Council on Aging of Martin County, Inc. provides the Meals on Wheels program. They provide hot, noontime meals for those who are unable to shop or cook. Although they primarily serve frail seniors, it is available to all Martin County residents who have a need for this service.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday, between 10:30am and 12:30pm. Weekend meals can be delivered upon request. Full week or partial week service is also available.
