School Readiness Assistance - Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County

This program helps pay for childcare. At least one parent must be working on their education at least 20 hours per week. The family's income must at or below 150% of the federal poverty level. This center has services for child victims of abuse. They offer advocacy and emergency response. They can help them with overcoming trauma using therapy. They also do single session, recorded forensic interviews for the children. This keeps them from having to recount what they have gone through more than once. Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Program - Early Learning Coalition of Alachua County

This is a free educational program that gets children ready for kindergarten. Children must be 4 years of age and live in Florida to take part in this program. They may do a school year program made up of 540 total instructional hours. There is also a summer program made up of 300 total instructional hours.
