YMCA programs are tools for building the values of caring, honesty and respect. They are longtime leaders in community-based health and fitness programs. Y's teach kids to swim, offer exercise classes for people with disabilities and lead adult aerobics. They also offer many other programs in response to community needs. This includes camping, child care, teen clubs, youth sports, family nights and more.

Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA

The Young Men’s Christian Association is known as YMCA for short. It is a nonprofit group. They use faith-based principles in their programming. The group has three focus areas. This is a Family Help program for those with ungovernable youth. Services are provided to families on a voluntary basis.

This office provides medical services for adults and children.

Discounted fees are available, depending on your income level. They accept Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans.

Temporary Cash Assistance-DCF- Pasco County Service Center

The Temporary Cash Assistance (TCA) program provides limited financial aid to low income families. The amount depends on the family size and income. Families can also get Medicaid benefits. They are referred for requested social services. Individuals must be U.S. Citizens or qualified non-citizens. They must live in the State of Florida.

There are also cash benefits for children who have been placed by the courts into a relative’s home.

Children's Home - Community Counseling Services

This agency provides outpatient family therapy to families having stressful times. They serve children ages 6 to 18 and their families. Family counseling is provided in the office or in-home. They treat children for aggression, depression, school difficulties and more. Their goal is to help children be the best they can be.
