Centers For Hospice Care- Gulfside Regional Hospice

GRH has four centers that offer hospice care to patients 24 hours a day. They are designed to provide a home-like atmosphere and 24 hour nursing care. They are furnished like private homes and have room for visiting family members. Patients get regular visits from doctors, social workers, chaplains and volunteers. Visitors are allowed at any time.

GRH provides medical care to persons with end-of-life issues. They also provide support to the entire family. Doctors provide pain management and home visits. Nursing care is available 24/7. Nurses monitor the patient's condition and medications. Social workers provide support. Chaplains provide spiritual support. Volunteers give respite care to family caregivers.

This agency donates baby food, car seats and clothing to pregnant women. Mothers of young children can also get necessities such as diapers, cribs and more. The group also refers West Pasco women to other agencies for pregnancy tests and counseling.

This agency serves the poor and homeless. The Outreach Center provides services such as food and shelter to those in need.

The staff will first listen to the concerns of those who walk through their doors. Then they will decide how best to connect families to the appropriate community resources.
