Health Care Center for the Homeless

This agency reaches out to homeless living in camps (HOPE Team). It also provides health services to uninsured people in Orange County.

The Hope Team:

  • Brings food and water to the camps to address basic needs and build trust
  • Help with referrals to behavioral health and substance abuse treatment programs
  • Helps the homeless get ID cards, birth certificates, and housing
  • Provides transportation to the clinic for homeless living in the woods
  • Takes information on medical, dental, and behavioral health services available through the Health Care Center for the Homeless

  • Christian Service Center

    The Christian Service Center has several programs designed to serve its mission. These programs address the needs of those struggling in Central Florida.

    Kids Cafe

    The Kids Cafe program is an after-school, meal service program. It gives food to children in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. The group makes and delivers balanced meals. Deliveries are on weekdays, during the school year. Meals are served by community partners and not the food bank itself.

    Connections Referral Program - Mental Health Association of Central Florida

    This group has the Connections Referral Program. It gives free information and referral services. The help is for people looking for mental health information and providers. It can be for themselves, family, or friends. Their database has many groups who can help with mental health, treat addiction, and give community care.
