This agency provides housing for low income families in Seminole County. They use the Public Housing Program and the Section 8 Program to provide rental aid to needy families. The Housing Authority hopes to move more families into the Home Ownership portion of the Housing Choice Voucher program. Their aim is to get more funding that may become available through the Family Self Sufficiency Program.
Note: The waiting list for Section 8 Housing is currently closed. The agency is accepting applications for Academy Place Villas (Public Housing). This is a group of 30 rental units in Oviedo. There is about a three-year wait.
