This agency has counseling and monthly support groups for patients and their families. They provide medical equipment loans for patients with a doctor’s referral. They can grant limited financial assistance (medical equipment, counseling, etc.). They have self help groups. They have educational programs, information and referral services. Florida Telecommunications Relay Inc.

This group is known as FTRI for short. It is a statewide, nonprofit organization. They run a distribution program for specialized telecommunication equipment. This equipment is for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Those who are deaf/blind or speech disabled are also eligible. HOPE Community Thrift Store - Hope Helps, Inc.

This thrift store helps people in many ways. If there is a family in crisis, they can provide them with everything to make their situation bearable. If they are homeless, once they are able to help them attain housing, HOPE can provide them with basic needs. A portion of the sales enables them to help families with aid such as: rent, utilities and car repairs.

Many agencies in the Central Florida area refer their families to HOPE. They need items such as clothing, shoes, household items, school supplies, furniture, bedding, infant items and more.
