Access Florida - Food Stamps, Temporary Cash Assistance, and Medicaid

The Food Stamp Program helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Dept of Children and Families services.

You can view the application in English, Haitian-Creole, or Spanish.

Love, Inc. - Blessings Bread Ministry

This agency picks up bread and baked goods from Publix six days a week. They also get baked goods from Pepperidge Farm two days a week. They are able to donate these items to local churches, agencies and clients in need. They also have a "Birthday Cake Ministry". They receive a large number of cakes from Publix and are able to donate them to those who cannot afford to buy one. They are donated to shelters, senior centers, some schools and families.

Nourishment Network/Second Harvest North Florida - Services

This agency partners with local member agencies to feed those in need. Member agencies include soup kitchens, nonprofit daycares, youth programs, senior citizen groups and others. Please see the website for more information. There is also a Mobile Pantry that travels to various low income areas to donate food to those in need. The website also gives information on how to apply for SNAP (food stamp) assistance.
