Behavioral Health Services - LifeStream
LifeStream provides Social Services through Anthony House. It is a transitional housing facility. They offer individuals and family’s housing. They also offer teaching skills that help them to become self-sufficient. Services may include:

Direct Job Placement/Supported Employment for the Blind
This program provides employment services to people who are blind or visually impaired. The goal is to place them into jobs that are compatible with their interests and abilities. Services could also include direct training at the job site and help with issues that have an impact on the job. This includes issues such as transportation, housing and referrals to local resources.

Case workers can help job seekers with employment. They will assess the client for all needs and work with him or her for the best plan of action.
Services include:

Education Programs - Metropolitan Ministries
MMTB is an official GED/Literacy site. Two teachers help with GED preparation classes. Also, counseling and job services such as resume writing, job searching and mock interviews are available.

First Jobs - Community Stepping Stones
This group offers the First Jobs program. It is a teen internship program. The program is for teens and students who have aged out of the ArtCamp program. This program offers paid opportunities for teens to gain work experience. There is limited space in the program. Registration is required. Please call or visit the website for more information.

This program provides jobs for people with disabilities. They partner with RESPECT to provide employees who are ready to work. JobWorks offers temporary work and contract services to agencies.
