Access Florida - Food Stamps(EBT), Temporary Cash Assistance, and Medicaid

The Food Stamp Program(EBT) helps people with low income to buy healthy food. The application can be done online. Please see the website for your local service center. The application is also used for Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid, and all other Department of Children and Families services.

Children's Medical Service - Sarasota Area

We provide special medical care for children from birth to 21 years of age. We help those with chronic medical conditions. Appointments are made by phone.

Hours of Operation:
Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday - CLOSED

DeSoto County Health Department

The DeSoto County Health Department provides medical and dental services to those in need. Clinic Services are provided on a sliding fee scale basis. Immunizations are free for children under age 18.
