CIL of the Keys is a SSA WIPA project. WIPA stands for Work Incentives Planning and Assistance Program. It helps people with disabilities get and use accurate information. This is so they can make a successful transition to work. Clients are aged 14 to 65. They must be getting either SSDI or SSI benefits. Please call or visit the website for more information.

This program boosts job opportunities for clients at the Rescue Mission. They will learn to identify their skills, talents and abilities. Clients chart a new career path and build self esteem. The program consists of certification training and job placement. Students receive computer training, tutoring and many other services. They attend classes at the Acosta Adult Learning Center. This is a national, primarily residential training program. It is for young people ages 16 through 24. Job Corps' mission is to attract eligible young adults and teach them the skills they need to become employable. Students get academic training to suit their needs. They can get their GED. They can learn English. They can take Driver’s Education. They can get vocational training in several fields.
