Teen ServicesFlorida Sheriffs Youth Ranches provides residential care to children in need. It is for ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who helps them. This group runs the Daniel Statewide In-Patient Psychiatric Program. It is called SIPP for short. The program provides treatment services. These services are for children between the ages of 5 and 17. The services provided are for children exhibiting the most severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress. Safe Harbor offers at-risk boys the chance to live aboard their own boat and learn seamanship. The faith-based boarding school offers education for teens who are not thriving in their current school. Each boy receives the structure, guidance, discipline and love he needs in order to succeed in life. Safe Place is a place where youth ages 10-17 can go to get help. There are over 300 Safe Place sites in Pinellas and Manatee counties. Safe Place services are available 24/7.

Santa Rosa Kids' House is responsible for coordinating agency partners and implementing of the Child Advocacy Center service model for child abuse. As one of over 900 Child Advocacy Centers in the United States, the Santa Rosa Kids’ House mission is to deliver a well-coordinated and multi-disciplined response to child abuse in an environment that puts the needs of children first. It is our vision to create a community where all children are nurtured to learn and grow in the context of safe and stable families that are equipped with the tools to prevent abuse and neglect. The Santa Rosa Kids’ House provides preventative, intervention and therapeutic services to children who have been sexually abused or neglected. Our facility uses the multidisciplinary team approach to reduce trauma to the child.
