GCM - Vision Clinic

The Optometry Team provides vision screening and exams and donated eye glasses to those in need.
Exams will be conducted every 3 months. A donation of $5 to cover cost of eyeglasses is suggested. Please call for more information.

Healthy Start of Central & North Florida Coalitions - NewboRN Home Visiting Program

NewboRN Home Visiting is a free program for women in Alachua County who give birth there. Within a week a registered nurse or midwife will visit. They will check on the health of the baby and mother, as well as help with breastfeeding and nutrition, give tips of how to safely care for the baby, and help connect the family to other local resources. Healthy Start of Central & North Florida Coalitions - The MIECHV/Parents as Teachers Program

MIECHV / Parents as Teachers is free for parents with infants and young kids in stressful life situations. They teach parents and caregivers skills to help their kids be healthy and safe. As well successful in school.

Alachua and Marion counties: for kids up to age 3.
Bradford, Columbia, and Putnam counties: for kids up to age 5.
