Types of Help Available:
This group runs Grace House. It is a residential recovery program for women. The nine-month program includes a work therapy program. It also includes a 12-step recovery program. The residents must attend church. They must also participate in bible study. Please call or visit the website for more information.
RCS Grace House provides dignified apartment-style emergency shelter. It is for homeless families with children. They may stay for up to two months. Food, clothing and household goods are available to residents. Residents must be willing to get employment and take part in weekly life skills classes. Upon completion of the program, families are eligible to shop at the RCS Thrift Store for furniture and household goods at no charge. Please call for more information.

As a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian ministry that builds with people in need regardless of race or religion, we welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.
HFH volunteers build houses for those who are currently living in substandard housing. Clients must first donate 350 "sweat equity" hours working on other projects. They must also be a resident of Columbia County. They must be able to afford a 0% mortgage. Please call for more information.
