Economic Opportunities Council of Indian River County, Inc. - LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)

LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program) helps low-income households with the costs of heating and cooling their homes. Funds are given once a year. This is based on the clients gross income and household size. Priority is given to those age 60 or over, and/or person has a disability; and/or at least one child under 5 in the home. Indian River County Health Department provides a range of Clinical and Nutrition Services. They accept Medicaid and private insurance. If you need medical care but can’t afford it, they offer reduced fees for Indian River County residents. You must be able to qualify.
