Flagler County offers Public Transportation for elderly, disabled, and low-income residents. You must submit an application to be accepted. Rides are available Monday - Friday from 6am to 6pm and on Saturdays from 8am to 6pm. Rides are not available on federal holidays. They offer rides to Volusia county on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program is known as EHEAP for short. It is offered by the Department of Elder Affairs which helps low-income households with at least one person age 60 and older. The help is for emergency energy related costs during the year.
