ARC Gateway - Pearl Nelson Center

The Pearl Nelson Center is run by ARC Gateway. It is the largest early intervention provider agency in the community for Early Steps. It includes different types of therapies. As well as developmental instructions services. Programs and services are for children. Those who have developmental and intellectual disabilities. These services are implemented in a family-centered approach. Parents learn to help promote their child’s developmental and functional life skills. Participants in the program must have a referral. The ARC Gateway began as a one room classroom. That was created by a small group of local parents in 1954. It now offers life changing programs and services. These are for both children and adults.
