Catholic Charities St. Augustine Regional Office - Food Assistance

Food Pantry
Our Compassion in Action Food Pantry serves all those in need. Clients who come to the pantry are provided with food that will feed them for several days. 93% of the people we serve are not Catholic. Most of our food is provided to the pantry by numerous food drives throughout the year. We always need donations to keep the pantry full and volunteers to help with this important work.

Catholic Charities St. Augustine Regional Office - Utility Assistance

Each month Gainesville Regional Utilities provides Catholic Charities with funds to help clients who are at risk of having their utilities disconnected. FEMA funds are also able to help families in Levy county. Our High Springs office helps with utility bills in south Columbia, northeast Gilchrist and north Alachua county. This program works with the clients to create a payment plan and once the client has paid their portion of the bill Catholic Charities pays the remainder.

Early Learning Programs
ECS provides programs based on the latest research showing the impact of early activities on brain development. Bright, colorful environments encourage exploration, engaging playthings stretch young imaginations and develop motor skills, and shared stories and rhymes build language skills. Developing language skills are supported through meaningful conversation, where teachers expand on children’s ideas and explore new ideas together.
Infant Program (6 weeks-11 months)
Our infant program is based on the latest research showing the impact of early activities on brain development. We offer a bright, colorful environment to encourage exploration. Engaging playthings stretch young imaginations and develop motor skills. Shared stories and rhymes build early language skills.
Toddler Program (12-23 months)
