Operation PAR - Adolescent Residential Center

The Adolescents Residential Center, located at the Shirley D. Coletti Academy for Behavioral Change, provides up to six months of intensive residential treatment for substance-dependent adolescents with the average length of stay being four months. the program targets youth between 12-17 years old who are experiencing problems related to the use of alcohol or other drugs. The program utilizes a family-centered approach in a supportive therapeutic community. Services are designed to facilitate a substance abusing adolescent's recovery and to educate and equip family members with the life skills necessary to prevent further substance abuse. a variety of individual, group and family counseling services are offered in a progressive five-phase model. a core of supportive activities including education, recreation, life skill classes, vocational training complements basic services.

Operation PAR - Call Center

The Call Center is a centralized center for access to Operation PAR, Inc. services and referrals to other community agencies and programs that benefit individuals. ThCall Center Specialist provide callers in need of services an over the phone or in-person screening, as necessary, to determine their needs. If it is determined that the services offered by Operation PAR will best serve the individual in need of assistance and/or treatment, the Call Center coordinates entry into those services. If the Call Center Specialists determine the individual would be better served at another community program, an immediate referral is provided. Operation PAR's goal is to provide assessments at the appropriate treatment modality within 72 hours from the initial call. The Call Center also provides service to the Mental Health Association of Greater Tampa Bay, by providing referrals and information on support groups.

Impairment due to use of alcohol or drugs, clients under 18 years old and demonstrate; evidence of dysfunctional behavior directly related to substance abuse, physiological signs of withdrawal or ordered by ex-parte for substance evaluation due to previous refusals; law enforcement Marchman Act.

Operation PAR - Medical Detoxification

At least 18 years old, capable of self-preservation, who voluntarily agree to enter the program. They must meet mandated criteria for admission, dependence on alcohol, amphetamines, barbiturates, cocaine, cannabis and opiates. Methadone detoxification clients; methadone dosage should not exceed 25 mg for 7 days prior to admission.

Pasco County SAVE (Sexual Assault Victim Examination)

Program consists of group of medical professionals who gather evidence of rape or sexual assault for prosecution in a supportive and protective environment maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of victims. Rape victims or their families may request an exam through their respective law enforcement agency. Evidence can be collected up to 72 hours after rape; however, victims are encouraged to report the rape as soon as possible.
