2-1-1 Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

AAA - National Family Caregiver Support Program

Provides help to persons any age who serve as unpaid caregivers for persons sixty or older. The goal of this program is to relieve the emotional, physical, and financial hardships of providing continual care. Services can include screening and assessment, respite care, counseling, chore services, and medical supplies. A second part of the program helps grandparents sixty+ serving as primary caregivers for grandchildren or other related children under 18 living in the grandparent's home with support groups, chore service, and legal assistance.

AAA - Safety Phone Project - Pasco Office

Safety Phone Project enhances the safety of at-risk seniors by increasing their access to 9-1-1 in an emergency, all cell phones will call 911even if they are not connected to a service plan. Provides free 9-1-1 only cell phones to seniors and accepts donations of used cell phones.

The Senior Victim Advocate serves elderly victims of crime who are not receiving services from any other victim assistance program. Services include: crisis and supportive counseling, court room orientation, court escort services, transportation related to the case, assistance with completion of impact statements and restitution requests, assistance with victim compensation application, emergency legal advocacy, and assistance with services to provide for a safe environment.
