DCF - TANF - Pasco County Service Center

T.A.N.F. - Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. Provides direct, time limited financial assistance to low income families. Amount of aid is determined by the family size and income. Families who qualify may receive limited assistance for 24-36 month in a 5-year period with a 4 year LIFETIME LIMIT. Recipients are also entitled to Medicaid benefits and are referred for requested social services. Efficient 4/1/98, ALL CASH Benefits will be available ONLY through Electronic Benefit Transfer in Pasco County.
