Children’s Home Society of Florida provides Independent Living. Teens ages 13 to 17 who are in foster care and young adults who have recently exited the foster care system are qualified. If you are 18 or older, you must be in school and employed. They will prepare you for adulthood. The day you turn 18, you become responsible for everything in your life, from paying rent to finding transportation to grocery shopping. It can be overwhelming if you’re not prepared. They want to help you prepare for that day. Among the things they do, they make sure you’re not alone.
