Florida KidCare

The state of Florida offers health insurance for children from birth through age 18, even if one or both parents are working. It includes four different parts.

iTeens Program

This program may be able to provide a meeting place for teens to work on activities including homework assistance, computer education, leadership development activities, field trips, cooking, and opportunities for positive socialization.

RCMA - Teen Parents Programs

The RCMA Teen Parent program provides:

  • Assistance to maintain grades and help the student graduate
  • Help for teens to sharpen parenting skills
  • Medical, dental, nutritional and mental health programs
  • Parental and Education Activities
  • Quality child care for newborns of high school students
  • Workshops on child discipline, teen pregnancy, drugs and alcohol, fatherhood
