Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches - Residential Care Services (Region 2)

FSYR offers a warm, caring home to youth in need. It is for those children who, for whatever reason, cannot remain in their own homes. It is for children ages 8 through 18. Youth are cared for by "cottage parents" who help them develop a strong work ethic, sense of teamwork and self respect. Each child must be recommended by the local Sheriff. Senior Friendship Centers - Social Services & Case Management

Senior Friendship Centers helps older adults live independently. Through Social Services & Case Management they are able to help with a wide range of services. Case managers match service options available through programs funded at the State and Federal levels to help clients receive the care they need. Please call the Elder Helpline. It is a toll free number. This is where you will start to access services. A preliminary needs assessment will determine which programs you qualify for, and where you can access them. From this needs assessment, you will be referred to services, or, in some cases, placed on a waiting list for services.

US Attorney Middle District of Florida - Victim Services

Help is available in the form of compensation and assistance. Compensation programs reimburse victims for crime-related expenses. This could include:

  • Medical Costs
  • Mental Health Counseling
  • Funeral and burial cost
  • Lost wages or loss of support

Assistance programs provide a range of services, including:

  • Crisis Intervention
